My Friends

Overview

How I got started

My dad re-married and my step-mom did spin classes so one day we went out on a 12-mile ride and I hated it. They asked me if I had fun and I lied and said, "Yes." When I did my first race, I craved to get better and stronger on the bike. The next thing I knew, I was shaving my legs, wearing shorts and going on longer rides.

Goals for the Future

Going to World`s with the U.S. Team. Going for the U.S. Time Trial Championships and placing top ten in most of my races in Europe

Bio

What inspires you to compete?

The sport. I love everything about it. The people you meet, the travel and I really feel like I am apart of something huge. I love seeing all my hard work in training pay off.

Some Personal Information About Me:

I grew up in a small town in east Texas called Groves, Texas next to Port Arther. It`s only three miles from the Louisiana state line and it`s part of the Bayou. I was raised by my grandmother most of my life until my dad re-married when I was 13. I was raised as a Southern Gentleman and on Cajun food.

Describe your style...

I like to look nice. I don`t mind throwing on a good, clean polo once in a while and I love dress shirts. I also like to wear rock and roll shirts and skater shirts too once in a while.

Music?

I love Rock n` Roll. I play my music too loud though. I listen to the old stuff all the way to the latest rock. Anything from AC/DC to Korn. I just like to hear good beats. It`s good for training alone. I use to be a singer in a rock and roll band but cycling is where I found out where I really wanted to be.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a pro cyclist on some Pro Tour Team and compeat in big races.

Competitive Highlights

Racing in Europe, Bahamas and Canada with the U.S. Team.
